Background

About Us

The University's Islamic Center was formerly known as the Islamic Unit and Value Development (UnIPeN). UnIPeN has been established since 2007 and is responsible for the management and implementation of programs related to spirituality for the purpose of developing the values of campus residents in particular and society in general.

In January 2015, UnIPeN was renamed the Division of Islam and Value Development (BIPeN). Along with the role and needs of this department and also the development of the university, on June 1, 2016 BIPeN was upgraded to become a University Islamic Center.

The University's Islamic Center now plays a wider role, including aspects of strengthening the spirituality or values of campus residents, income generation and welfare orientation such as zakat management (Institutional Amil) and waqf management.
