The Islamic Centre of UMK organizes a special Infaq program for UMK staff with a salary deduction starting May 2017. This program is a platform for staff to give charity consistently every month with a minimum rate of RM3.00. The objective of this program was created to help the welfare of UMK students who are less fortunate to enjoy food for free.
This Infaq fund will be distributed to students through several distribution methods include:-
1. Dining Coupons
2. Food Bank
3. Sunat fasting feast on Monday and Thursday
4. Ramadan Iftar
5. Suhoor
Apart from making monthly salary deductions, cash donations can also be made at the Islamic Centre office or by making a transfer to the "sedekah@umk" account.
Staff and the community are welcome to contribute to this program as the number of students in need is increasing over time.
